Verizon Global Wholesale has earned Best-in-Class Carrier Excellence awards in brand and network performance in the Atlantic ACM 2014 U.S. Long Haul Wholesale Service Provider Report Card.

The awards – presented Monday (March 17) at the COMPTEL Plus Sprint 2014 Convention & Expo in Las Vegas – are based on surveys collected and evaluated by Atlantic-ACM, the Boston-based strategic consulting and research firm, from over 1,000 individual carrier reviews. The Atlantic-ACM report compiles trends, market drivers and conclusions about the domestic long-haul landscape to deliver a thorough picture of providers and trends shaping the market for wholesale services.

The best-in-class carrier excellence award for brand (Verizon tied for the top spot) was based on how respondents rated carriers’ reputation for quality and service. The network performance award was based on customer rating for quality, availability and uptime.
