November 6th, 2012 - Two-time winner of the Inc. 500 award, One Source (News - Alert) Networks (OSN) has launched its cloud computing portfolio. Built on enterprise grade technology and designed on fully redundant architecture, the suite comprises of three Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings packaged to meet a wide variety of business requirements through its flexible deployment models and a plethora of product features.
With the help of processing, storage and network capabilities provided by OSN's Cloud Computing suite, customers can setup a computing infrastructure that can be scaled as needed, allowing them to provision the optimal capacity of IT assets and eliminating the inefficiencies associated with in-house infrastructure with respect to time and money.
The portfolio offers access to private compute pools, a dedicated model providing an additional security layer, isolation and control. Each offering is available in self-managed and fully managed options with both of them providing access to resources and reporting via a unified, simple interface -- the OSN Cloud Computing portal. Using the portal, customers can deploy, configure and manage virtual machines across operating systems including Windows, Open Source, or Solaris as well as managing IP addresses, firewalls and load balancers.
"Cloud Computing represents a key addition to the OSN family of solutions," commented Ernest Cunningham, CEO, One Source Networks (News - Alert), in a statement. "Like all of our offerings, the portfolio exemplifies the core values of our company by enabling our customers with solutions that drive higher performance and efficiency. By tapping into computing resources delivered via the cloud, customers gain a competitive advantage through enhanced ability to respond to evolving business demands, and the ability to transition from a capex to an opex-based infrastructure model."
The suite provides physical redundancy to eliminate downtime due to hardware failure. As an enterprise cloud offering, customers are guaranteed privacy and security, with the additional benefit of fast instillation.
Delivered across three continents, the OSN Cloud Computing portfolio can be accessed via OSN's Cloud 2.0 architecture, which offers secure public and private data connectivity to enterprise customers around the globe.
