Equinix is excited to announce the opening of its fifth data center in the Dallas area, DA6, supporting the growing demand for Platform Equinix in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area.  Located in the Dallas Infomart, and open for business immediately, DA6 offers more than 82,000 square feet of colocation space. This brings Equinix’s total square footage in Dallas to more than 230,000 square feet.  With five data centers in Dallas, Equinix offers the largest ecosystem of network and cloud providers for our customers to connect to. Equinix's Dallas data centers house over 100 network service providers - more than any other data center providers or buildings in the Dallas metro area, providing network choice and connectivity for 40+ cloud service providers and 30 content and digital media companies including: AT&T, Level 3 Communications, Adobe, AOL, Comcast, China Telecom, Sprint, Time Warner Cable and Walmart.
