BSO announces support for Google Cloud Interconnect

We’re pleased to announce we’re now an official Google Cloud Partner Interconnect provider

Google Dedicated Interconnect provides higher-speed and lower cost connectivity than a virtual private network (VPN) solution, and has become the “go-to” solution to connect on-premise data centres to Google Cloud.

Partner Interconnect is a product in the Google Cloud Interconnect family that allows private enterprise access to Google Cloud Platform.

Our first clients are currently on-boarding with Partner Interconnect in Frankfurt and London, and the service will be available from all of the 100+ PoPs in data centres, offices and colocation environments currently on BSO’s global backbone.

Emmanuel Pellé, COO at BSO, said

“BSO delivers low-latency, high performance, highly available, private cloud infrastructure. Given the growing use of higher workload applications, such as those using artificial intelligence and machine learning, it is important for our clients to be able to easily burst into the public cloud from across the globe as their business demands. We are very pleased to be working with Google Cloud to deliver this increasingly popular hybrid cloud solution.”

Our can opt for a fully managed, secure private cloud environment with the ability to interconnect to Google Cloud privately from our cloud platform or quickly extend their hosted private networks into the public cloud.

As part of the managed service, we monitor the infrastructure bandwidth and the state of the network ensuring that the client receives predictable performance, bandwidth and latency without the need to maintain their own infrastructure.
