RTS delivers high-performance, multi-asset trading solutions to enhance speed and geographic reach of Bloomberg trading technologies
New York and Frankfurt - July 9, 2014 - Bloomberg announced today that it has acquired RTS Realtime Systems, a global provider of low-latency connectivity and trading support services. RTS provides market connectivity and trading tools across equities, futures, options, FX and fixed income trading.

The acquisition will broaden Bloomberg’s exchange connectivity through RTS’s existing global network of data centers. Integrating RTS’s trading solutions and services enhances Bloomberg’s suite of trading technologies so that institutional clients can enjoy faster, more reliable access to multi-asset class liquidity venues around the world.
RTS also bolsters Bloomberg’s deep pool of market technology expertise. Bloomberg employs more than 3,000 technologists and RTS has more than 150 employees, including experts in developing local market connectivity solutions throughout Europe, Asia and the United States.
